Rose Gold Metal Guide

Rose Gold Metal Guide

Much like 18k Yellow Gold and 18k White Gold, Rose Gold is an alloy commonly comprised of 50% 24k Yellow Gold and 50% Copper. It is a delicate and feminine choice for jewellery, with variations in colour from soft blushes, to more pinky hues depending on the exact combination of metals. Rose gold has a warm and modern appeal, and although has seen a rise in demand in recent years, has a history of popular acclaim dating back to the early 1900’s where it was a firm favourite amongst Russian Tzars and into the Art Deco era.

As with other Gold variations, Rose Gold is a beautiful choice for diamond engagement rings, wedding bands and eternity rings, as well as more specialised jewellery design.
